Andre Zwiers, owner of Marcraft boats, and friend Jan were over in Ireland to deliver my boat to me and could not pass up on a chance for a spot of Pike fishing while testing the boat out.
At this time the guys I had coarse fishing had been complaining that they were getting taken by Pike while playing fish on their feeder rods. We traveled up to where they were fishing and it was not long before the lures went. What a way to christen a boat! We had 6 good fish within 50 minutes and a double hook up at one stage. Nice one guys and thanks again.
All fish returned unharmed.
