The Johnny Fyfe memorial was well attended with some 12 boats each having 2 fisherman. This is an annual tournament hosted by the Carrigallen Trout fishing club and everyone is welcome to partake in next years event with cash prizes and a trophy.

The weather was pretty favourable with just a couple of showers coming through and there was a very good number of pike caught on the day, all of which were weighed and released safely without harm.

The top weights this year came from Mr Raymond O’Reilly, Mr Michael Dalton and Mr Seamus McManus.

  2. Michael Dalton 12lb 13oz pike
  3. Seamus McManus 9lb 11oz pike
