Fishery Manager Pat Hughes reported that angling conditions were favorable for most of the time and that 8 grilse (all ranched) averaging 3.5 lbs. were caught during the week on the Burrishoole Fishery. Amongst the successful anglers were David Harris and John Meagher from Tipperary with 3 fresh ranched grilse caught on Lough Furnace. Successful flies included Green Peter, Silver Wilkinson and Cascade patterns.
