Monday 11th  to Sunday 17th September was very wet with big floods every day except for Saturday and Sunday which still gave small floods. The gauge average for the week was extremely high reading 0.35 metres! The fishery was strangely quiet however with only 10 visiting rods fishing for the week. There were a number of salmon reported, both fresh and coloured and towards the weekend a late run of sea trout appeared.

On Monday, Tommy Corr recorded a lb grilse caught on a spinner from beat 9 and Davy Sullivan accounted for a 5lb grilse caught on a spinner from beat 8.

On Tuesday, Davy logged a 6lb grilse caught and released on a spinner from beat 7 and Michael McCrory recorded 2 grilse weighing 3 & 6lb caught and released on a fly from beat 5.

On Wednesday, Davy Sullivan recorded an 8lb salmon caught on a spinner from beat 8 & Dietrich Bohnhorst accounted for a 3lb grilse caught on a fly from beat 2.

On Friday, Alan Watson reported a 6lb grilse caught and released on a fly from beat 4.

On Saturday, Alan Watts registered a 2lb grilse caught on a fly from beat 4. On Sunday, Alan Watson reported 12 sea trout to 1lb caught on fly from the bottom of beat 9.
