The Munster Coarse Anglers fished the 2nd match of their Winter league at O’Briensbridge on Sunday…
A sullen O’Briensbridge produced very few fish for our 3rd round match. Gin clear water and very little flow made fishing very hard with almost every one in one section blanking save 1 small perch for Richard to give him a 3rd section win in a row.
The other section was little better. My peg proved to be the best with half a dozen roach in the 2hrs + odd perch through out gave me a over all win with 2lb.9oz and a valuable section point.
Ian with two late roach for 10oz and newcomer Clive with a small perch made up our some total of fish for the day.
Hopefully our next match will be a bit more competitive with a few more bites for everyone.
