A few salmon and sea trout reported from the Bandon

There were 5 salmon reported on the river last week, these were caught between Bandon and Enniskeane.

There were a number of sea trout caught also just upstream of the weir.

There was a good bit of water in the river following Friday’s rain, but the river has dropped again since then.

Bandon Angling Association have set up a guiding service in conjunction with Jason Nash, Peter Aspinwall and Phil Dewey. Details of the guiding service are provided on the website and they are looking forward to making memories and enhancing people’s fishing experiences on the river Bandon. However, in certain water conditions, spinning is permitted for salmon. Trout angling is “fly only” at all times.
