Killybegs Mariners take a trip to the West every year for sea trout and more in the foam. If they’re willing to move from Donegal, then this spot must be worth travelling to. Stefan Martin reports…
Another great weekend away with the Mariners club to Belmullet this weekend with 18 anglers heading to west Mayo to the stunning Erris coast with miles of big surf beaches and sheltered coves giving plenty of choice for venues. Great weather and some fantastic fish and plenty of craic. We are looking forward to a return next year again.

15 April: Another day for you and me in paradise….day 3 of the mariners club tour and big silver arrows working the surf lines for the lads catching and releasing its not easy getting to the flatties. Cups of tea to the sounds of the Atlantic surf it’s days like these that make it a great way of life enjoying this sport.
