Wicklow Bay Sea Angling Club report that the first leg of the Leinster boat league was fished in Kilmore Quay on Sunday (22 April). Fishing was described as tough despite what seemed to be ideal conditions with the sun shining but the fish being shy to take baits.
Pollock was the main catch with a mix of wrasse, dogs, coalies and cod making an appearance in smaller numbers. Big well done to Liam O’Callaghan taking the win today and to everyone else who turned out.
