12 May: Plenty of fishing for the Mariners yesterday with some nice Bass for Cormac in Hollyhead and the 2nd Summer league outing taking place in front of a lovely sunset on Rossnowlagh. But with the remnants of the big wind during the week the fish had moved off and were hard to come by and with a scattering of single fish it came down to length and there was a happy angler in Declan McGettigan receiving €93 for his 32cm flounder which won most points cash and longest fish cash prizes. 2nd place was his dad Michael McGettigan. Johnny also collected his voucher for 3rd in the winter league. Great to get out and get fishing. Well done to all.
