Despite the exceptional warm and sunny weather, anglers on Carrowmore Lake enjoyed good fishing for most of the week. Good numbers of salmon were caught with the majority being released. Some of the lucky anglers included P. Beirne, L. Mitchell., F.Duncalf, R. Murphy, V.Rigney and J. Martin. Best flies were Green Peter, Claret Dabbler and various Bumble patterns. The first sea trout have also started to run and exciting fishing is expected in the coming weeks.
