Patrick Fagan and Pat Kirwan were on on the River Barrow recently enjoying some top class perch fishing. On one day the pair caught and released over 50 perch to 2lb.
While there has been a lot of interest recently in soft plastics, drop shotting and other inovative methods for perch on this day it was the tried and tested traditional favourite that did the job.
The good old humble worm accounted for every fish caught – if it aint broke dont fix it…
