Munster Coarse Anglers report on round 2 of their Winter League…
It was back to the dam at O’Briensbridge again today flat calm clear and low not a lot was expected but “the bridge” is a venue that you can never second guess. Gone were the big roach that had shown in the last two matches.
It was largely small fish over the 2nd shelf that made up a lot of the weights. Of these it was the small Dace the seemed to be the most ravenous however a few of the higher numbered pegs did produce some nice roach weights on the feeder.
- 1st Paul with over 150 fish for 13lb 14oz
- 2nd Tommy 10lb 15oz
- 3rd Steve Grogan 10lb 1oz
- 4th Clive 9lb 12oz
Finally congratulations to our junior member Donagh who managed to net the biggest roach of the day topping the pound mark.
Last league match before the Christmas break in two weeks time it’s also the fur and feather.
