Maura Hughes reporting from the River Erne, Co. Cavan notes that levels on the river remain very high however there still has been some big pike caught.
Notably a visitor from Dublin named Darren caught a whopping 17lb Pike and also another large Pike weighing 13lb last weekend. Darren was visiting the area for the weekend to do some pike fishing and stayed at the Church View Guest House in Beltubert, Co. Cavan.
