Angling guide Mick Flanagan was out fishing with Gordon Davis who wanted to tick pike on the fly from his bucket list.
I field tested a few new F.H.M.S lures and they interested quite a few pike. Gordon had nice pike on the fly and the lures tempted the big fish to attack.
Late in the evening i got stuck into a plonker in the spills of rain. It was a really lovely pike – 23lbs 9oz and 110cm.
Also few perch and pike on jigs. Lot rain on camera lens, hope no water damage. F.H.M.S. lures mixture Twin Tails and Spinner Baits. Yep Flanagan Home Made Special Lures.
