Jimmy Frazer reports from Lough Arrow…
Despite changeable conditions the good mayfly fishing continued on Lough Arrow during the week with many fine brown trout caught by local and visiting anglers alike. Fishing was mostly on dries with dapping also producing some nice fish. Amongst the lucky anglers were Brendan Smith who caught a 4.3 lbs. fish on a dry mayfly and Sarah Maxwell with a four pounder on the dap.
With temperatures rising and days warming up spent fishing during afternoons and evenings should become more popular in coming weeks.
