The Limerick County Pike Anglers Association resumed their competition schedule last weekend after a summer rest period. But the very wet conditions that were forecast for the day put many of their anglers off, and there was a low turnout, with only 7 anglers being brave enough to face the dirty conditions.
Catches were relatively slow on the day for most anglers, but Tommy Williams put in a strong performance, winning out with a strong 37lb+ bag.
