MOY CATCHMENT ANGLING REPORT – Week ending 25/09/2022
RIVER MOY.
28 Salmon were recorded for the week, with 8 of these released. Water levels are extremely low for this time of year. Water levels recorded at Ballylahan Bridge (waterlevel.ie) on the Monday morning were 0.195m and rose sharply 4 days later to 0.570m and dropped off quickly to 0.234m by Sunday night.
Anglers are saying the salmon have totally switched off, and lost their aggression, probably because of water temperatures and low water levels.
