Austrian angler, Gerald Schimetta, experienced world-class flyfishing for pike over the past days in the Boyle area. Not alone that he broke his PB with a fantastic fish measuring 112cm, Gerald also managed to land another pike of 107cm plus a few more around the magic 1m mark.
Gerald is a regular guest with Angling Services Ireland and usually visits the area twice a year! Well done Gerald!
