The second of the two qualifying matches for the 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 took place on Saturday 15th July. A total of twenty six anglers from across the provinces turned out for the match at Oaklands lake, New Ross, Co. Wexford to secure a place in the final this October.
Gheorge Varva finished in first position with 70.880kg from peg 5, Grazvydas Karalius second with 69.580kg from peg 20 and in third place Matija Ivkov with 65.520kg from peg 17. Section winners were Enda Hickey, Leo Lynch and Ronan Minogue.
With Enda Hickey and Mark Caffrey already qualified in round one the top 20 anglers from the Oaklands qualifier will join those who qualified at Gaulmoylestown AC Carp Match Ireland in the final.
