The 3rd Leg of “Perch League 2023” was held last week on a section of the River Barrow.
With the recent spell of very warm weather, the competing anglers didn’t know what to expect, as predator fishing in warm weather and bright sunshine is difficult for even the very best of anglers.
Competitors met at the rendez-vous point at 8am sharp, in hope rather than expectation of tricking a few nice perch into taking their lures. It turned out to be a really hard day for most of the participants, but still some fish were caught.
At the end of the day after all pictures were checked the winners of this leg were announced, and they were:.

- Second place – Paweł Adamkiewicz
- Third place – Viacheslav Rusko
- Longest Perch – Pawel Adamkiewicz
