Guided Dr Robin Beran from Ohio out of Adare Manor on 21 June. We fished the Deel at Newbridge and the Maigue at Adare, both running strong and tinged but fishable.
Robin had a number of hits at Newbridge before connecting with a beautifully conditioned brown, missed a couple of more good fish.
Adare was choked with traffic as usual and Robin had a small trout before latching on to a good 1lb+ fish, alas the strong current aided his escape.
Good to have a day without thunder and lightning, I cancelled a couple of bookings because of it, safety first!
