The 3rd round of the Munster Teams League fished was at Inniscarra on 07 April. Munster Council Coarse Angling tells us that the famous fishery did not disappoint on Sunday despite the strong southerly winds following the tail end of Storm Kathleen. Adrian Browne did very well on C section landing 38.850kg. Close on his heels was John Browne…
“I was back on Fountain House on C21. Started off on the 4m whip had 120 fish in the first hour. Then came in on the 3.5m whip and caught another 130 fish in the next hour. A few people started getting big hybrids so I went out on the pole for the next hour and a bit, catching 5 big hybrids then slowing down. I came back in on the 3.5m whip for the last hour and a bit ended up with 360 fish that went 22kg and only 4th in section. What a venue!! My section was won by Adrian Browne who weighed 38kg of big hybrids.”
