A new addition to the competition calendar, a one-day boat competition for trout, will be held on Sunday 8th September, at Rossinver Fishery Lough Melvin. There will be some great prizes valued at over €2000!!
The competition will be jointly organised by FROGS cic & the Rossinver Fishery, with the generous support of several sponsors (list published separately).
The format will have two youth anglers per boat, fishing lough style. (With vetted boatperson). Boats, engines & the top boatmen/boatwomen from around the country are volunteering to make this great event possible.
C&R tools & match cards are supplied & will be completed by the boatmen & boatwomen.
Two age categories:
- 11yrs old to under 16 years old.
- 16 yrs old to 22 years old.
This event is organised in compliance with Garda GNVB requirements & child safety regulations.
€ 10 entry payable at the fishery on the day.
