onal McGuirk came out on top at this year’s Royal Enfield Coarse Angling Club Two-Day International Festival, producing a strong second-day performance to secure overall victory.

After weighing in 2lb 5oz on the opening day, McGuirk added an impressive 13lb 14oz on day two to bring his final total to 16lb 3oz. That was enough to see him take the spoils and lift both the Progressive Genetics Cup and the Fred Moss Memorial Cup.

It proved to be a closely fought contest, with Paul Holding pushing McGuirk all the way before finishing runner-up with a two-day total of 15lb 8oz.

Leo Aungier completed the top three, ending the festival with a combined weight of 13lb 7oz.
