Thankfully, the predicted storm didnโ€™t arrive, but anglers were still met with blustery conditions. Catches once again consisted of nets of small roach, with the occasional hybrid showing.
Dave Micklewright took the win on the day with 10.270kg from the Garden Centre

It was an overcast day, with the river colouring the water at the Garden Centre, leading to improved catches of skimmers and bream, along with mixed nets of hybrids and roach.
Unsurprisingly, the top three all came from the Garden Centre;

    2. Henk Roskam โ€“ 11.260kg
    3. Trevor Platt โ€“ 10.640kg

Henk Roskam now takes the overall lead, but with an open draw for the final day, itโ€™s still all to play for. Expect a lively draw in the morning!

In a change to the norm โ€” and by popular demand โ€” the final day was an open draw.

After yesterdayโ€™s bream showing, the Garden Centre looked the obvious choiceโ€ฆ but it didnโ€™t quite work out that way. A different day weather-wise โ€” sunny and fine but windy โ€” saw the colour drop out of the water, and the bream failed to feed. Instead, it was Turtle Bay that produced the goods.

Henk Roskam continued his incredible consistency, winning the day from Turtle Bay with 11.260kg and taking overall honours once again
