Zoltan got a nice net of late session tench that he had on a weekend trip in the Roscommon area. He had planned two very early mornings on a lake in the area. After the first morning things weren’t looking to good. Only one tench turned up with some small roach and hybrids and a lone bream. We had a little chat and I suggested that he go back to the same lake the next day and fish a bit bigger ie bigger baits. And so he did. Using size 12 hooks baited with two to three worms this produced the better fish.
