Dave Mc Gregor was in touch to tell us about a recent fishing trip. He has been taking his Nephew Jamie Ryan (12) fishing. Sea fishing mostly – LRF stuff – and he’s already well hooked. He’s used to the set up on the piers and understands the size of the fish on offer on the light gear.
Dave decided he was ready for his first beach trip. Being all new to him Dave didn’t know was he really expecting much or would the long stretch of Arklow Beach be a bit off putting. Anyway, he was in his element and crowned the day by landed himself a cracking 4.5lb bass!
