The Dublin Trout Anglers fished their LM Byrne Cup on Lough Lene recently. They were faced with pretty challenging conditions with regular downpours interrupted by the odd bit of bright sunshine. The fishing was slow enough, with only 8 of the 28 anglers boating a fish. The best fish of the day, weighing in at 4.26lb, was caught by Donal Raftery, giving him his first ever win in a DTAA competition.
