Johnny Baily sent us this report from Ireland’s newest carp fishery:
Loch Mahon is the newest Irish carp fishery, 10 minutes from Enniscorthy and 20 minutes from New Ross. We’ve held three matches already this summer with great weights and hope to hold many more.
There are plenty of carp in this lake, with the top weight in our last match coming from Johnny Bailey with 156lb 9oz.
We can hold up to 15 anglers at a time, with loads of room for feeder anglers and pole anglers. The carp range from 1lb to 10lb, and there are some lovely tench as well.
