We are located on Annaghloy peninsula on the north side of Lough Arrow, one of Irelands greatest trout fishing lakes. We are 30 mins from Sligo and 25 mins from Carrick on Shannon and only 15 mins from Kilronan Castle. Lough Arrow Caravan Park and Rock House accommodation are 10 mins walk away.

Notes : Based on the shores of Lough Corrib accomodation is arranged and boats and engines provided. Basil’s flies are tied for the Western Lakes. Basil is a first class angler and boatman who has qualified many rods at the World Cup on Lough Mask over several years.

We are located on the western shores of Lough Corrib, one of Europe’s best Trout & Salmon lakes which fishes from 15th Feb through to 30th Sept. From October through the winter months Pike Fishing on Fly or Bait can be arranged.
Angling & Boating on Lough Corrib
Padraig looks after the Angling and Boating facilities providing guiding services and boat & engine hire. Padraig has 35 years of experience fishing on Lough Corrib and has fished for the Irish International Fly Fishing teams over many years. On Lough Corrib he specialises in early season Duck Fly, Olive and Mayfly hatches, Buzzer and Caenis fishing and later on in the season sedge hatches. There is a Drying Room available for Wet Gear.
Birchall Lodge & Angling on Lough Corrib is ideally situated in between the lower and upper lake giving one an ideal opportunity to fish here. We have private access to the lake with its own moorings. As an alternative to your fishing trip, we can arrange Sea Trout and Salmon Fishing & Guiding on Connemara Lakes.

The Burrishoole Fishery is located on the North side of Clew Bay about 6 km northwest of the town of Newport Co. Mayo. It consists of two beautifully scenic lakes, Loughs Furnace and Feeagha (130 ha and 320 ha respectively) and the tidal pools.
The fishery is owned and operated by the Marine Institute.
Salmon licenses, permits and boat hire available.

Boats available from Camillaun Lodge at Oughterard moored at the end of the garden with direct access up the Owenriff river to Lough Corrib (0.5km).
Boats are available for half day and full day hire.

We are a boat and bike hire business based at the IFI mudflats match fishing stands south of Carrick. Our boats are 19ft and 17ft Sheelins with 6hp engines also Pioneer multi hull wheelchair friendly with helmsman, boats can be hired from Mudflats or Carrick quays. Notes: Larry and his team are top quality Guides, many of whom have fished for their country. These Gillies or Guides know every nook and cranny of Corrib, Mask and Carra and will work hard all day to make sure you get the opportunity to catch your fair share of lively wild brown trout. The Clare and Robe rivers offer some excellent Salmon or evening Dry Fly fishing. We enjoy some fabulous fly-fishing all year round for pike.

Fishing
The fishing is privately owned by Costello and Fermoyle Fisheries, and visitor permits are available.
The fishery comprises the Casla River and a series of lakes, set in beautiful scenery against the backdrop of the Twelve Pins mountains.
Boats or fishing stands are provided at all of these. The fishery is fly fishing only, and the number of rods is strictly limited, and beats are rotated.
Guide and instructor
Brian Curran is an experienced game angler of many years. For the beginner Brian can provide instruction in basic fly-casting techniques.
Tackle Hire
Tackle hire is also provided and the services of this experienced and qualified guide is sure to make your angling holiday one to remember.

Fishing
The Culfin fishery is located approximately half way between Clifden and Westport in the beautifully scenic area called Connemara in the west of Ireland.
The fishery offers Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout fishing on two lakes and a river. Fly fishing is recommended but we also allow spinning with barbless hooks. The lakes, Lough Fee and Lough Muck, may be fished from the bank or by boat.

Currarevagh has its own traditionally built clinker boats which our guests can use at any time. If you would like an outboard this costs E80.00 per day including fuel, and experience of outboards is a must.

For anyone not familiar with the lake we recommend the services of a ghillie (Fishing Guide) which we shall organise for you. He has expert knowledge of the lake, knows the conditions for fishing and can give advice on flies, baits and so on. He will have his own boat and outboard motor together with a good supply of necessary tackle and rods. They are super fishermen themselves, good company and happy to give lessons to complete novices.

The Drowes Fishery is one of Ireland’s premier spring salmon and grilse fisheries. The river is some 5 miles in length, with over 70 named pools, flowing from Lough Melvin at Lareen Bay and entering the sea at Tullaghan, just outside Bundoran. The Drowes has a wide variety of water suitable for all fishing methods, including several miles of good fly water and deeper slower moving pools suitable for spinning and bait fishing.

Angling Guide
Tom O’Shea is a fourth generation ghillie on Lough Currane with over thirty years experience fishing the Waterville system.
The Fishing season here in Waterville, Co. Kerry, Ireland it is open from January 17th to October 12th.
Fishing from January to Mid May is for Spring salmon.
From Mid May to October it is mainly for Grilse and Sea trout.
River fishing can also be arranged during the Summer months.
