Bantry Bay Charters has 3 specially selected, safe and comfortable boats which can depart from the Railway Pier in Bantry or the Pier in Glengarriff.
Charter a boat for a full-day, half-day and evening. Specialist Angling Charters are offered for those of you who wish to target specific species, specimen fish or try new methods of angling. Bantry Bay offers plenty to catch from the seabed, whether on the drift or at anchor.
Deep Star
“Deep Star” is a 33’ Aqua Star vessel, with a P3 Licence (15 miles from port, 3 miles from Land). Full safety equipment as per Dept. of Marine. Life Jackets supplied. 16 person life raft onboard. All charters have the provision of a safe and secure trip on-board a comfortable stable boat with outside seating, canopy cover and toilet facilities.
Puffin
“Puffin” is a 31’ Mitchell, known for their sea keeping capabilities, with a P5 Licence (30 miles from Port, 12 Miles from land), for 12 passengers and 2 crew. Full safety equipment as per Dept. of Marine. Life Jackets supplied. 16 person life raft. All charters have the provision of a safe and secure trip on-board a comfortable stable boat with outside seating, canopy cover and toilet facilities.
Steren an Mor
“Steren an Mor” is a 40’ ex Cornish built fishing boat converted to a passenger boat, with a Class 5 Licence for 40 people in smooth waters, and a P5 licence for 12 passengers (30 miles from port, 30 miles from Land). Full safety equipment as per Dept. of Marine. Life Jackets supplied. Life raft onboard. All charters have the provision of a safe and secure trip on-board a comfortable stable boat with outside seating, canopy cover and toilet facilities.
