Our qualified guides will offer you a professional service along eight miles of double bank fishing on West Cork’s beautiful Bandon River. Whether you’re hoping for the dainty sip of a brown trout, the electric slam of a sea trout or the unmistakable draw of a salmon, we can offer you our experience so you get the best out of your day on the river.

Notes: Fishing available in the Lee Valley, Lough Lein, Killarney and many other venues in Cork and Kerry. River and lake fishing available. Brown trout, rainbow trout and sea trout all in this area. I have captained and managed the Irish team in world and euro championships also. I am two times national lake champion and have represented my province in the national river championships. I am also the Irish rep to FIPS Mouche and actively involved in organising local and national competitions.

Tom Ankettle offers guided salmon, brown trout, rainbow trout and sea trout fishing in the Cork / Kerry region. Accommodation can be arranged for visiting anglers. Tom has represented Ireland at the European Fly Fishing Championships, has been a past captain of the Irish Team. He has won All-Ireland Inter-pro River Championships with Munster on 15 occasions. Basic fly fishing instruction is available if required.
