Paul Gosson fishing with Newbridge and District Pike Anglers was on fire at the weekend. Paul had caught himself a new pb very early on in the session and those looking on knew on landing it was a biggun. No-one really expected it to challenge the 30lb mark, so when the scales hit 29.01lb everyone was speechless. After a few photos the big hen-fish was returned healthy and fit.
Paul followed this with a stunning fish of 22.04lb. Brendan Jarvis had 3 to 16lb, but new member Dean Hatton did particularly well, landing his new pb; a fine fish of just over 23lb.
