Fishing has been good with a lot of the fish being caught on the jetty side of the lake with the northern shoreline a little slower.  Michael and Conor McDermot from Castlerea had an excellent evenings fishing with 6-fish average 1-3/4 lb with best fish 3-lb.  Junior fly angler Garry Madden had 2 nice fish best 2-lb.  The McGee brothers from Dunmore had good fishing with 7-fish best 2-lb all returned.  Fish now visibly feeding on perch fry with sedges now beginning to appear.
