Exactly three years after the devastating deluge that occurred on November 19th, 2009, flooding occurred in and around Bandon on Monday evening following several hours of heavy rainfall.
Flooding forced the closure of the main N71 West Cork highway near Cahalane’s Garage and Billie’s Diner at the eastern approach to Bandon town and Cork County Council diverted mainly westbound evening traffic on to the road between Innishannon and Ballylangley and also advised drivers to use the Half Way to Bandon road via Crossbarry……
