THE WAY has been cleared for removal of an old weir on the River Urrin upstream from the old Davis’s Mill site. The planning department of Wexford Council formally granted permission for the move, in response to an application from Inland Fisheries Ireland.
The weir, 200 metres upstream from the bridge over the Urrin on the N30 Enniscorthy to Clonroche road is well known to local anglers….The Enniscorthy Guardian….08/05/12….read full article…
