This event is being run to promote the sport of fly angling, to help fly anglers from all disciplines develop new casting skills. The venue has been provided free of charge and the instructors have given their time free to help raise funds for CARA Junior School R.N 20354A. This is a new special school for children aged from 4 –12 who have both Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual Disability.  Many of the pupils would have additional sensory and emotional needs that may also impact on their learning. The school was established in 2011 and are in temporary premises. They have recently acquired computers and require some computer furniture and storage units.

All elements of Single and double handed fly casting will be covered. Some of the worlds top international FFF Masters, APGAI & GAIA Fly Casting instructors will be present on the day along with ACI Angling Coaches.  There will be demonstrations, group and individual tuition available. A light lunch will be served on the bankside. Fishing will also be available to those in attendance so they can practice their newly learned skills.

Event Fee is €30.00 and all proceeds will be presented to Emir Duffy Principle CARA Special School on April 2nd World   Autism Day.
