Carrickmacross angling guide Peadar O’Brien reports that he and Richie McCahey from the Carrickmacross Club were out recently for a days pike fishing. Richie is a well known carp angler his biggest is 51lb to date. During the course of the outing the lads had a few nice pike and lost a few. The weather was very cold with temperatures way down. Peadar was trying out a few new lures and was quite happy with the results. He reports that they had a good day and really enjoyed the outing.
