Pike angling guide, Kenny Sloan, reported on a recent venture with a visiting French family on lakes in the Foxford area. August can be a challenging time for pike anglers, however, despite this, guests Dominic and son Anthony enjoyed success, with several pike up to 90cm boated as well as some nice perch. Although conditions on the day were flat calm with bright sunshine, the party employed all methods including the fly, lure, bait and trolling to earn their catch.
