Guide John Scanlan took to the river Feale on Saturday and not only did he enjoy a fine spring day with a great stretch in the evening he also caught an 11lb springer at the flat above the Joinings. The fish fell for a cascade type fly at around 5.30 on Saturday evening, 3rd March.
