As the season draws nearer to a close, angling effort and catches have decreased significantly on the Ballisodare Fishery. Among those to catch fish this last week were local anglers Mike Mullaney who had one of 4lbs to the prawn and Stephen Moore, who released a small grilse taken on fly. Visiting angler Padraig O’Callaghan landed one of 4lbs on worm, Larry Donegan also had one of 4lbs taken on fly while Peter Sweeney caught a small grilse on the worm.
