Despite an increase in angling effort in the mid and upper Moy fisheries over the past week, it has been the Ballina Salmon Anglers’ water which has continued to produce salmon. Three in total were caught on their waters, with Andy Lynott landing one of 6.5lbs (pictured below), Mick Lackey landing one of 4lbs and the largest salmon of the season to date, a fine fish of 12lbs taken by Val Mitchell. All fish were caught on worm.
