With still a full months fishing left on this Lough Neagh tributary anglers are delighted to see the large flood this week which is set to guarantee a bumper end to what has been a brilliant season for trout, dollaghan and salmon. Fish where spread throughout the system from Moyallen to Hilltown before the flood and good sport is imminent as the water falls.
Tom Withers from County Down returned two salmon and lost a couple near Hilltown as the flood subsided there first and good quantities of salmon and dollagan have been running the weir near Tullylish and also at Lawrencetown. Any anglers from the south wishing to prolong their season by a month should contact myself through my website below.
