24 April: There is a small fresh in the water and the level is now at 0.47 metres on the gauge, still low but a welcome rise. Fishing has been slightly better over recent days, there has been a run of smaller fish in the 5 to 7lbs range. Spinner and prawn have accounted for the majority of fish over the past week. More rain is expected over the next few days so the water level should continue to creep up slowly.
