Water levels have fallen during the past week, which has been mainly dry and the gauge at the Four Masters’ Bridge is now at 0.84 metres, approaching a more fish-able level. No more fish have been reported and angling effort has been light.

Prospects for the weekend look more promising as water levels continue to drop and further dry but colder weather is forecast for the rest of the week and weekend.
