Cork Harbour Angling is enjoying some brilliant fishing at the moment from Bass to Blue Shark and from Gurnard to Garfish.
Sea Angling
John Geary skipper of the Lee Star is delighted at how often he had the opportunity to take to the sea this September. John tells us the Pollack fishing is superb with many clients racking up the specimens.

Blue Shark
While on Tuesday September 25th we hear of Cork angler Myles Kelly heading out with Jim Linehane, skipper of Deora De . Myles plays the blues like no other……landing one just under 40lbs, and since then there’s no stopping him! Together with fishing companion Declan Collins they have explored the seas around Cork and landed many good sized fish. Their guide and skipper, Jim Linehane has certainly developed a reputation for finding the blues over the last few years and one of his most notable captures was of a fish estimated at over 225lbs.
To book a day with the Deora De you can contact Jim Linehane, skipper of Deora De, on 00-353-86-4091389, or check out his website here.
Bass Fishing
With the Autumn comes the bigger Bass and Guide Richie Ryan is an old hand at finding the biggest and the best fish. Richie makes sure his customers don’t come away empty handed when they join him on the Eire Bass. As you can see from a very pleased Pete below with his 10.3lb Bass.
