Saturday 12th May was quite a nice fishing day in north Co Monaghan. Overcast with sunny Ā spells and a light breeze meantĀ thatĀ conditions were good for fishing on Emy Lake, Emyvale. Local Emy & District Angler Jimmy Skinnader decided to try his luck and caught a beautiful 6.25lb brown trout on Emy Lough. The fish put up aĀ terrificĀ fight but was eventually brought to the net.
