The Balsam Bash announced for tomorrow, Saturday 9th June, is being cancelled due to the heavy floods. A date will be announced shortly for the next attempt as the plant will shortly be at the flowering stage and it needs to be eradicated before that happens. Hopefully the flood will bring some salmon and trout to the upper reaches of the river and make for good fishing for the next week or so.
