Carrickmacross Coarse Angling and Junior Development Club had a stunning success at the recent NCFFI All-Ireland Angling Championships which were held in Cavan recently.
The Carrick club received a first and a third place in the senior competition of the junior event, aswell a win in the ladies event.
Carrickmacross Coarse Angling and Junior Development Club Members Jamie Edwards took the title with 9.9kgs and Lee Harris acheived a third place with 7.12kgs. In the ladies event Emma McMahon took the top weight.
According to the Fishing in Ireland website, the club are currently on a recruitment campaign and eagerly looking for new members……
