Brendan O’Reilly reports that Newgrange Active Angling were out for the 2nd leg of their Winter League on a river in Cavan. The weather was mild but it did rain all day, how and ever the fishing was great with 46 fish weighing 96lbs coming to 8 anglers and the heaviest fish only 5-04ozs caught by coach Brendan O’Reilly. Darragh O’Neill was top rod with 12 fish, next Daron Kavenagh with 9 fish, next Luke Everard 7 fish Jason Campbell 6 fish Glen Finnegan and Lloyd Lynch had 4 fish John Treacy 3 fish.
